it has been more than 50 years since rosa bark's famously refused to give up her bus seat but what you might not know after her famous protest, she was continually threatened both she and her husband lost their jobs. they couldn't get work for a decade, and while her face became increasingly synonymous with the civil rights movement her family was nearly destitute. but she was always a fighter, working tirelessly of the secretary of the branch of the naacp, well, today would have been her 100th birthday and in honor of that the u.s. postal service released a stamp in her image. it was unveiled today in dear born, michigan. love it. quick break. we'll wrap things up. allstate sends a check. ok.
